| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*- the contact states that she has noticed problems with 2 graco safe seats bases for the infant seats. the contact states that she and another parent have noticed that once the base has been installed tightly, the base slips from side to side. the contact states that this type of base seat needs to be locked in with 2 lock off clips. the contact spoke to a graco representative on 12/18/06. the representative said that the contact's comments would be forwarded to the quality department, who would decide if they needed to do a follow up with her or not. the contact has not received a return call. the contact states that she has installed these bases on passenger back seat, driver back seat and in the middle of the back seat. the graco products are model# 8a04sil with manufacture date 09/01/06, and another seat from graco with model# 8a00psn with manufacture date 02/20/06. the contact is an instructor for installing these seats. the 1st seat was purchased 08/01/06, and the 2nd was purchased 11/20/06. the contact said that installation is with the lap and shoulder belts. |
