Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Side air bags deployed in contacts car. on star had not been working. contact told by dealer that they were not going to repair anything on the car until the investigation was completed. took car in and spoke with advisor and was told they would work on it and let him know when the car would be ready. later received a call stating that they were not going to fix the car because the on board computer said that there was side impact. contact told the advisor that the car had no damage on the car or underneath the car. advisor said that there was a scratch and a dent on the tire and the rims. a contact said that a friend had drove through a car wash and messed scratched and dented the 24 in non-original tires on his car. the contact has not been able to drive the car for over a month now because dealer will not fix the car. insurance will not pay for the repair because there was no accident and they said that it is a warranty issue. contact says that he was not in an accident obviously because the drivers air bag did not deploy in the front. please investigate, thank you henry adams. *nm
