Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Transmission failed in 2002 trailblazer on 12/21 with 93,000 miles while traveling with family on christmas weekend. left stranded on highway and had to be towed. will not go in reverse and will not go into second gear. mechanic said gm parts are inferior and he will replace with aftermarket which will be much better. transmission should last much longer than this. i have had vehicle with 250,000 miles on the odometer and not had transmission problems. gm should admit there is a problem and recall this transmission. *jb
