Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Spare tire retention failed causing spare tire to detach from the underside of the pick up while driving. spare tire was not recovered. chevrolet customer service was nice enough to say "sorry i'm afraid your bumper to bumper warranty has expired". upon further review it appears the steel cable retaining the tire fatigued and broke. 35540 miles on the truck. *nm
