| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 1999 chevrolet tahoe is plagues with activation of the abs system at low speeds (ie bumper to bumper traffic or slowing to a stop sign/traffic light) when the abs system engages thedriver has no input to the brakes and the stopping distance is greatly increased leading to possible and likely crashes. i happens intermittantly, but numerous times daily! dealer is aware of an existing recall involving 1999-2002 gm vehicles from my area..but will not cover my $700 for repairs that shoul dbe covered by the recall (nhtsa # 05v379000 wheel speed sensors) |
