Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*- the contact stated that on 10/03 vehicle would lost power while driving. the abs light, low oil light, low batteries, and check engine warning light appeared on the dash board. the contact took the vehicle to heritage chevrolet in battle creek, mi, and they stated that they repaired the vehicle by replacing the ground unit. on 01/04 contact experienced the same incident, except that the vehicle did not completely lose power. the engine kept running, but the vehicle would lose power to the speedometer, as well as having the abs light, low oil light, low batteries and check engine warning light appear. on 02/04, contact brought vehicle back to the same dealership, who stated that they wouldn't be able to repair the vehicle, and for the contact not to return with the vehicle. this year the contact experienced the same incident and took the vehicle to a different dealership, ) and they stated that the reason the vehicle was having the problem was because the ground wire was failing, creating a surge of power to the electrical system, and cr a failure in the abs control module. the abs control module and the wire harness will need to be replaced. *ak
