Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: 2002 trailblazer transmission has failed twice . first failure was at 38,000 miles and second failure is at 83000 miles. the failures happened both times at the exact same location as i was entering a major highway from a stop sign. purchased a new transmission at 38,000 miles costing over $1300 dollars to get a new transmission vs. a rebuilt one. i believe gm know there is a problem with this vehicle however , fail to fix the problem. i am afraid this vehicle will result in harm or death to my family if the transmission keep going out this way. *jb
