Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I bought a 2007 honda civic si on december 18, 2006. in less than 700 miles the clutch burned out. honda america agreed to pay for the labor to repair it, but wanted me to pay for the parts. ( about $300) they also agreed to pay for a rental car for four days while my car was being repaired. i see no reason why i should have to pay for the parts, since i consider the problem to be a factory defect. the car has a six speed manual transmission. i know how to drive a standard, and i'm convinced that i did nothing to cause this problem. *nm |
