Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I own a 2004 nissan titan, i have had several issues involving the brakes having a severe vibration problem and have had them fixed at least 3 different time at the dealer, the dealer says the problem is fixed and should not return but it does 6-12 months later. now the rear differential is going out and the truck is only 2 1/2 years old. i took it to the dealer only to be told it would cost over 3000.00 dollars to repair. the dealer rep that i spoke to said it was a common problem on this model,i took it to a reputable mechanic in my area to be told it could br repaired for around 1200.00 dollars. my mecanic did his own research speaking to several area nissan dealers to be told it was a common problem and it could be repaired but it would most likely happen again and that the entire rear axle should be replaced.i do like the truck and all i want is to have my rear replaced at no cost to me.the truck has not been used for any towing or hauling purposes and has only been in 4 wheel drive when is was a severe snow. it has been used for light four wheel drive use. *nm |
