| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 9/12/06 - had electric fan motor assembly replaced while traveling by mcgee tire stores in tallahassee, fl for $535. 9/15/06 - received recall notice f25 from daimler chrysler for same as repair. 01/02/07 - inspected by dayton andrews daimler chrysler to verify work was completed. sent original repair receipt, dayton andrews letter and recall notice with letter to daimler chrysler requesting reimbursement for repairs. 01/16/06 - received a call from "randi" at daimler chrysler stating that she revieved our paperwork and determined we were not entitled to reimbursement because we chose not to have jeep perform the work. she refused to let me speak with her supervisor and stated that she was "empowered by daimler chrysler to make this decision not to reimburse." the receipt of the recall notice occurred directly following us having to have this work done while traveling to tallahassee, several hundred miles from home and stranded without a working vehicle. while we were having this work performed, we were unaware of this recall as we had not yet received the notification. how do we appeal to daimler chrysler to reconsider this claim? i have soft copies of all documents, in case "randi" chooses not to return my original documents, which i can produce upon request. thank you for your help. |
