Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl* - the contact stated that he received recall notice# 06v298000 for the 2001 victory v92sc sport cruiser motorcycle, power train: manual transmission. the manufacturer stated that the owners must leave their motorcycles with the dealer due to the safety issue for 7 months. the manufacturer polaris stated that the recall didn't begin until 06/2007. the motorcycle has been at polaris of cumming in georgia since 11/06. the dealer informed him that the manufacturer ordered them to keep the motorcycle until they were repaired. the manufacturer issued 18 kits for the motorcycles during the week of 12/18/06. the contact was concerned about the length of time it was taking to repair the vehicle, and was unsure about the legal issues surrounding the confiscation of the motorcycle without the owner's consent. *ak
