Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Instrument cluster failure. the cluster failed within the first six months and was replaced under warranty. the replacement cluster failed a year later. the service writer told me that they repair the clusters they replace and sell them as new. i was also told that they repair the specific problem with the returned cluster and that the clusters are subject to fail again. if the cluster is replaced as new it should be a new unit. i was told that the replacement cluster was sold without warranty and that it could fail again. the tech that worked on my truck said that he replaces these clusters often. *nm |
