| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: After a short 5-10 minute drive, the transmission kicks into a low gear and will not shift. i can travel about 40 mph with the tachometer reading around 4500 rpms. it sounds like the transmission is going to blow up. i had it checked by a transmission place and even though the check engine light has stayed on for the past 2 months, they cannot isolate the problem. the recommendations of the error code does not reveal the parts as problems. i can turn the car off and put it in park and the problems stops for another 5-10 minutes if i am lucky. it seems there are many complaints about this on this website and it sounds like it is time for someone to force dodge to fix their problems. i want the call to last long enough for it to be paid off and from reading others problems, i doubt that i will make it. one word needs to be said: recall. *nm |
