| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*- the contact stated that the 2000 norcold refrigerator caught on fire on 09/25/06. the contact stated that the jayco designer series rv 5th wheel that was purchased with the norcold refrigerator had a defective refrigerator that had recall campaign 02e019000 back in 2002, he just found out about the recall from reading his good samaritan magazine. the insurance adjuster, fire investigator, and the forensic department determined that the refrigerator norcold was the cause of the fire. the contact had all reports needed for the investigation. *ak the consumer was never contacted about the recall. updated 03/30/07. *jb |
