| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*- the contact owns a 2003 chevrolet silverado. while driving 70 mph the speedometer displayed between 120 and 140 mph, and didn't change when the contact is decreasing speed or driving the actual speed. the speedometer rapidly changes speed and didn't register the correct speed. the contact called the manufacturer to file a complaint, and was advised that there was nothing they could do since there were no related recalls. the failure occurred periodically for 2 weeks. there are no warning indicator lights. the current mileage was 54000 and the failure mileage was 53855. the failure occurred 8 times.*ak updated 02/27/07.. *jb |
