| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While my cousin had borrowed the car, the car stalled and he could not get it started again. the car was towed to a mechanic and the mechanic did say that with the horrendous noise the car was making, that the engine would need to be either rebuilt, or replaced, based on what he called a rod knock. when i had another mechanic look at the car, he proceeded to say the same thing. this is a car that in 7 years of me owing it, i put on less than 70,000 on the car in that time. i have always done oil changes regularly and took good care of the car, to now have it sitting in a driveway, unable to start ! *jb |
