| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I experienced brake failure on my 2002 jeep grand cherokee (59,000 miles). after braking to turn a corner the brakes would not work. this occurred over several instances and became very un-nerving not knowing when the brakes would work. i took it to the jeep dealer and he stated that he replaced the master cylinder. he also said it was not covered by the brake recall so i had to pay several hundred dollars to get it repaired out of my own pocket. i contacted jeep and they were no help and wouldn't agree to pay anything. *jb |
