| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The tires rub the front struts of my car. had to purchase four new tires and get a re-alignment to fix the problem. this problem is not a result of the oem tires used on the vehicle, but a problem with the alignment. when gm brought the holden monaro over to the united states badged as a gto, the monaro was aligned for a 235 tire. gm put a 245 tire at all four corners and didn't change the alignment specs. this is what is causing the rub. it has absolutely nothing to do with the tire's structure/rubber compound/manufacturing. it is solely an alignment issue that has been in existence since the 2004 gto first came over. *nm |
