Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Windshield wiper module: there have been multiple recalls on the windshield wiper systems on chevy trailblazers (three on my vehicle). my windshield wiper crawls to a stop when set on high speed in heavy rain, making it difficult to see and dangerous to drive. i have been told by the dealer that i need to replace the windshield wiper module at a cost of $350+ because it has a short in it, but it is not covered under the recall. this is a safety issue with a known defective part, yet the manufacturer is refusing to replace or repair the defect. windshield wiper modules are closed systems and if mine has a short in it, it is because the manufacturer was faulty and moisture was allowed to get in. *jb
