Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I took my 2000 ford expedition xlt in to huntington beach ford to be serviced due to r.p.m. fluctuation and a service engine soon light. they conducted a diagnosis and stated i would need a i.a.c. part. the new i.a.c. did not fix the problem so i took it back to h.b. ford and they stated i would need a d.p.f.e. sensor. i had them replace that which did not fix the problem because the service engine light illuminated and the r.p.m. fluctuation was still evident. i went back to h.b. ford and they diagnosed a new throttle body. i gave them the o.k. to replace the throttle body. they called me a couple days later to inform me that that did not solve your problem so i will need to pay an extra $400 for a diagnostic fee so they can check all the wiring. the manager has stated they believe it is coming from the wiring system? why do i have to pay for everything else when they cannot pinpoint the problem? *nm |
