| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*- the contact stated that the 2007 yamha yzf r1 motorcycle took approximately 4-9seconds to accelerate when in second gear. this problem generally occurred at 47-49 mph and 5500 rpms. the contact stated once accelerated it lurched more than he would like. the contact first noticed the problem during icy road conditions, contact noticed the acceleration problem occurred during all road conditions, and therewas no particular time of the day when this occurred.. yamaha informed the contact the acceleration problem was due to the way the motorcycle was designed, and there was no way to fix the problem. the motorcycle currently had 1,000 miles. |
