| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*- the contact stated that after driving the 2006 volkswagen tdi diesel and coming to a stop she put the vehicle in park and the vehicle continued to roll about 4-6 inches further. the contact stated that this was a safety problem, if someone were in front of the vehicle it could hit him/her. this was noticed after buying the vehicle. the contact took the vehicle to the dealership and was informed that there was no adjustment to be made on the vehicle. the contact took the vehicle to another dealership called wallace volkswagen in tennessee. he stated that the service manager was waiting for a volkswagen representative to come in to the dealership and have him look at the vehicle. the sales manager informed the contact that this was a problem. the failure mileage was 40 miles and the current mileage was 24,800.*ak consumer states while getting oil change the dealer was notified of the problem by adjusting cable on gear shift but to no avail the problem is still yet to be fixed. 4/23/07*tr |
