Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Problem with engine consuming too much oil. when vehicle was taken in for oil changes was informed by technician that oil consumption was normal. received letter from nissan usa motors stating there was a recall due to engine consuming too much oil and were currently looking at a solution to the problem. to ensure no further damage to engine owner was required maintain suggested oil levels. the car started making noise coming from the engine was told it was nothing to worry about. last letter received by nissan usa motor stated to take vehicle in to nearest dealership for a test that would determine if only ecm would need to be reset or maybe a possible engine replacement. *jb
