Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I thought you might be interested to know that my 2005 rr (30000 kms - build date 01/05) td6 is currently having the differentail and prop shaft replaced. the car has been making a grinding noise when moving forward at a slow pace gradually getting worse over the past few weeks. this noise will only occur when the vehicle is in gear (d) and only when traveling very slowly, the noise disappears when neutral is selected even while the vehicle is still rolling. the front prop shaft seal (transmission end) has also failed and leaking oil. three months ago the air compressor was replaced as the original failed. *jb |
