Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: When air temperature is above 65 degrees the security light is displayed in the information center. several weeks later the truck failed to start after repeated attempts. fuel filter, spark plugs were replaced. dealer informed me that the pass-lock security system malfunctioned, and thinks that i'm trying to steal the truck. sensor, wiring harness and one other pertinent part were replaced to fix the problem. several months later, problem recurred. mileage at that point exceeded the warranty, leading to more money coming out of my own pocket. several months passed and problem has once again become apparent.*ak |
