| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: On 12/23/06 a weekend warrior trailer rolled over in colton, ca on the southbound 215 near washington exit, in front of the giant rv dealership where it was purchased. i am in the rv industry, so contacted their service department to make them aware. they indicated in a later conversation they do not report to nhtsa on the tread act when i saw one of the people at an industry event, and this unit has a known failure for a light tongue, causing roll overs. nhtsa needed to enforce tread or more people can get hurt. at least one person went to the hospital from this rollover , the wife. this unit was a weekend warrior trailer, they were not listed on your selection even though they were the largest toy box rv maker in the us. this was not a fleetwood, but itwas the same type of trailer as the information below.*ak |
