Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Gas tank leaked gasoline while i was traveling on the highway. *jb the consumer had to take the vehicle back to the dealer on 4 occasions. the fuel sending unit and gasket tank was replaced under recall. two days later, it was replaced again. one month later the consumer continued to smell gas and the tank and gasket was replaced again. the consumer stated the gas tank is still leaking. the consumer received an e-mail stating the crack on the tank had been there for some time and was not a result of it being damaged by the technician. the consumer was told the problem she was experiencing was not the same as the recall. updated 04/12/07 *jb |
