| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 1999 chevrolet silverado 1500. the contact received a recall notice in the mail to have the brakes serviced. the dealer replaced the brakes, but was now charging the contact for other services that were included in the recall. the dealer stated that other parts on the vehicle assisted in causing the brakes to fail. the manufacturer suggested that the contact's driving habits may be the reason for the failure. also, the dealer stated that the contact should get used to the brakes jumping, and needed to replace the entire brake system. the current and failure mileage were 75,000.*ak |
