| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Motor vehicle part defect- spare tire carrier assembly was defective, as i was unable to remove the spare tire from the carrier after having a flat tire on the interstate. the carrier's threads seemed to be defective, as i was unable to lower or raise the carrier assembly. i contacted the kia dealership about the problem, but the service director refused to fix the issue unless i was willing to pay for the replacement of defective parts. i refused since the spare tire assembly has never been used until september 2, 2006, when i had a flat tire on the interstate and discovered this defective part.*ak |
