Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2002 ford escape. while driving 35 mph, the vehicle's brake warning light illuminated. when the brake pedal was depressed, it went down to the floorboard. the brake pedal had to be depressed approximately three or four times before the vehicle would stop. the road conditions were clear. the mechanic stated that the vehicle needed a new master cylinder, power brake boost, and a power brake check valve. the mechanic performed the repairs, but approximately three months later, the failures recurred. the mechanic stated that the vehicle needed another power brake booster. the vehicle was repaired and no other failures have occurred. the current mileage is 73,300 and failure mileages were 68,800.
