Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owned a 2005 jeep liberty. while driving 65 mph in normal driving conditions, the vehicle was side swiped by another vehicle. the contacts vehicle spun out of control, struck another vehicle, and then crashed into a tree. the contact suffered three fractured ribs, pain in the neck and back, chest burn from the seat belt, and stress. the vehicle was destroyed. a police report was filed. the contact received a recall notice for the lower ball joints in april of 2007. she stated that had the recall repair been performed, she would not have had the crash. the engine size was unknown. the current and failure mileages were 20,000. updated 11/16/07 *tr
