| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 05 durango with 5.7 hemi stalls when driving. sometimes when backing up sometimes when coming to stop sign or light, or sometimes when driving on roads at different speeds. this is the worst scenario because power steering and brakes also go. has not caused accident for us yet, but cam close when my fiancee was driving. chrysler is aware of problem and has tried to fix and has given me every excuse in the book. finally has decided to replace car but with hefty mileage charge. i will fight them on that but i wanted you to be aware that all of their so called service bulletins do not fix problem. one excuse i got is that the epa won't let them fix the problem because it will effect the emissions output. i realize this is a problem for only a small amount of vehicles but it will only be a matter of time before someone is injured or killed due to the engine stalling. *tr |
