Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2002 chevrolet tahoe. noticed a futter/rattling compressor like sound when accelerating. appeared to be from air conditioning (a/c) condenser & compressor air vents in the front and back of the tahoe was not cooling off . with a/c off it will not make this noise. caller, talked to several people with the same problem. the problem was intermittent. replaced tensioner pully, compressor, and now i am told it wa s the ac condenser. i have already spent $1100, and warranty only paid for 1 item. i now need $500 for ac condensor to hope to have vehicle back to fair condition. i would like chevrolet to recall/replace this in the vehicle, as well as others due to chevrolet knowing this was a problem. i want payment of $800 paid to me for out of pocket expenses i had to pay when the vehicle only had 57,000 miles on it. i own a 1999 pathfinder and never had any of these problems. i would like someone to contact me as soon a spossible. *ak |
