| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Took the motor home for repair of the frame due to the floor sagging on 11/2006. at the time they welded the frame to support the floor. then , there was a rear axle noise ,and i took it in to get repaired under warranty on 6/2007. they informed at me that time that the frame had been extended. they told me to contact the rv dealer to have them check it. on 7/5/2007 i received a phone call from themford dealers service manager saying that he received a bill from ford motor company for the axle repair, also, telling me that they were not responsible due to the alteration of the frame. they told me the repairs cost over $4,000.00. i called ford motor company, and they told me when they sold the frame to rv manufacturers. they were informed that any modifications done to the frames or chassis voided the warranty. i was aware because of the statement that ford motor company told me that i no longer had a warranty on this coach. i have contacted the dealer and ford motor company not fleetwood at this time, and i was waiting for a reply. so here i am, help! help, any help you could give me wouild be greatly appreciated. *ak |
