Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2000 daewoo leganza. two weeks after purchasing the vehicle, it began to exude a burning smell and the check engine light constantly illuminated. the contact has been to the dealer on four different occasions to have the failures repaired. to date, she has spent over $1,400 for repairs and the failures are still present. the dealer currently has the vehicle and has recently informed her that the cam shaft sensor needs to be replaced. through internet research, she discovered recall number 04v357000 (engine and engine cooling). she stated that her vehicle is experiencing the same failures as noted in this recall. the current mileage was 88,000 and failure mileage was 83,000.
