Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2001 jeep grand cherokee limited, at approximately 58,000 miles the hvac system won't direct the air to the correct area when asked to do so. when taken to the dealer they tell me it will cost $1,500 to repair. from what i understand this is a very common situation with these vehicles. i live in central ohio and it get very cold in the winter and when you can't get heat to come out of the floor or dash vents or the defroster to keep the window clear while driving it becomes a safety hazard. i'll put the date down when it started happening and it hasn't been resolved since. *tr |
