| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2004 jaguar xj8. while driving 5 mph the vehicle would not stop when the brakes were applied this caused him to crash into another vehicle. the road conditions were dry. the contact stated that there was damage to her bumper. the failure occurred on five occasions however only two resulted in a crash. the dealer was unable to diagnose the failure. the first failure mileage was 5,000 and the current mileage was 10,500 when turned in on 05/02/07. updated 02-01-08 *bf the consumer stated each occurrence transmission lost ability to downshift. the consumer further stated had software malfunction and battery had to be replaced twice. the consumer stated he was forced to pay off the last year of the vehicle as the dealer would not excuse him from the last year of payment. updated 02/01/08 *tr |
