Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2001 jeep grand cherokee. while the engine was running, the fan blade separated and caused the engine cooling system to fail. the vehicle then began to overheat. the fan was first replaced in june of 2006. nhtsa campaign id number 06e011000 (fuel system, gasoline:delivery:fuel pump) was received in june of 2007. chrysler stated that they would replace the fan under the recall and the contact would be responsible for any additional engine damage. the vehicle will be towed to the dealer. the current mileage was 110,000 and failure mileage was 90,000.
