Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2000 jeep grand cherokee. when the heater was activated, there was no heat coming from the vents. the contact added antifreeze to the vehicle, but the heat still would not work. she took her vehicle to firestone and they performed a flush. this did not correct the failure, but the pipes became hot. she took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that the failure was caused by the revolving blend doors and the heating blend doors. the dealer would not repair the vehicle for free because it was not covered by the extended warranty. they stated that they would pay a portion of the repair cost. when she went to have the vehicle repaired, the parts were on back order. when the parts arrived, no one from the dealer called to inform her. the vehicle has not been repaired due to the repair cost. the vin, engine size, number of cylinders, and powertrain were unknown. the failure mileage was 69,000 and current mileage was 75,000.
