Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: 2005 chrysler pacifica noticed loud engine tapping after a couple thousand miles after purchase. checked oil and it was about 2.5 quarts low. i had the oil changed, all was fine.. drove another 2000 miles, checked oil and 2 quarts low again. had a dealership look into it and they said they found no leaks. was told 2 quarts in 2000 miles is not normal. they said it would cost me $2000 to tear into the engine and find the problem. i guess i should top off the oil and trade it in. *jb
