Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: On january 1, 2007, i was driving the vehicle in my neighborhood traveling at a rate of about 25 mph. as i tapped the brakes lightly to slow down, the brake pedal pulsated rapidly and noticed the abs light turn on. i did not bear down on the brake pedal so i do not know why the abs system engaged. the brake light stayed on for the remainder of the day. on january 4, 2007, my wife was driving the vehicle at lunchtime and the abs system engaged without her even touching the brake pedal. the brakes made a squealing noise at the time. needless to say, the abs light is back on. *nm
