| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I heard on the cbs morning news that there was a recall for the infant evenflo discovery car seat, that it failed front and side crashes. i called the evenflo 18002335921 at 9 am this morning fri jan 5 2007 and spoke to a amy and she said the news was mistaken and that all of evenflos products meet and exceed federal standards and said that they are not recalled. i want the truth and my child to be safe, i have the right to know , please let me know the truth, my infant seat was made on aug 14 2006 and the number is 3911672 l1. is there a way i can get a replacement seat that does meet standards? i no longer have my receipt or box and kmart will not complete a recall if evenflo has not recalled it and i just fell real upset that people are not on the same page here. *nm |
