Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Belts provided for the graco infant safe seat do not fit a 7 month old of average size with a light coat on and are extremely difficult to buckle even without heavy clothes or a coat. belts are fully extended according to the manufacturers directions. manufacturer states that this car seat will fit up to 30 lbs and 32 inches. we have found this to be a false claim and have had to replace this seat with a convertible seat. our child is 26 inches long and 17.5 lbs. in a rear facing position the shoulder belts should come up and over the child's shoulders in order to fit our child in this seat we had to move the belts to the highest level where they come down from about 1.5 to 2 inches above her shoulders. we have tried both the second and third belt positions with this product with the belts fully extended. we feel that this belt position is not safe considering every manufacturer states that the rear facing belts should not come from above the child's shoulders. *jb
