Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl* - the contact owns a 2000 jeep grand cherokee that was involved in nhtsa recall campaign id number: 06v199000. concerning engine cooling system. on 10/16/06 contact called a local dealership, and they stated that they didn't have the parts, and it could not make the repairs until after 1/1/07. on 01/03/06, the contact noticed coolant leaking under the vehicle. the contact took the vehicle to the dealership ,and who is repairing the vehicle for the recall, but that vehicle is misfired. in order for the dealership to find out whatwas wrong with vehicle they will need to charge the contact an extra fee. the contact stated that he maintained the vehicle well , and that the vehicle hasn't had any problems with misfiring before. *ak |
