| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: In the summer of 2006 i took my 2000 ford taurus se in to get the brakes checked. auto mechanic informed me the rear springs were broken. took vehicle to local ford dealership and they said the same thing, springs broken. last weekend (1/13/07) i took the vehicle in for a couple of new tires. this auto mechanic also informed me rear springs were broken and advised of danger of rear tires being punctured and blown out. technician actually showed me broken springs. were very rust and pointed. got new rear springs, struts, sway bar, alignment for a cost of approximately $800.00. this car has less than 40,000 miles! *jb |
