Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: At 7:20 this morning when i started the jeep, the headlights and taillights and dash lights did not work. the high beams worked only while i held the switch on. they wouldn't stay on. turn indicators worked. drove son to school and came home. took jeep manual inside to look up fuses. discovered there are separate fuses for left and right so i doubted it was the fuse. decided i would have to take the jeep to the dealer. when i went back to the garage about 7:35, the lights were on (i had left the switch on by mistake, and the lights on alarm didn't sound when i left the car). now when i opened the car door, the lights on alarm bell rang. i turned off the lights and turned them on again. i turned on the high beams. everything was working normal. called the dealer and they said they really can't do anything as long as everything is working. surely this has happened to somebody else. i don't want to be driving back from the airport some night and have the lights go out. *nm |
