| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*- the contact stated that he owns a 2004 chevrolet silverado. he stated that on 01/13/06 while driving 60 mph on a clear day his speedometer dropped to zero for about 200 miles with an odometer reading of 54,200 miles on the vehicle. the contact stated that later that evening he started his vehicle and the speedometer went to 95 mph and was stuck there for about 400 miles. the contact stated that the speedometer is now stuck on 85 mph. he took the vehicle to the dealership and was told he needed to have the speedometer cluster replaced at a cost of $500.00. the contact stated that he feels this vehicle is too new to have this type of problem. *jb |
