Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2005 chevy z-71. the wheel center caps fly off of the vehicle while driving. this has happened twice in the past month, and during the latest incident it almost caused a severe car accident. the center cap flew off of my driver's side rear wheel and hit an oncoming vehicle on the windshield. this caused the startled driver to wildly swerve back and forth into oncoming traffic behind me and almost cause a head-on collision. on a more minor note: these caps are a $70/ piece factory only item which should be covered under warranty when they fly off, but are not! *jb |
