| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl* - the contact stated that his 2004 dodge intrepid engine had failed. the odometer reading was 80,000 miles. while driving on 01/11/06 at 65 mph on a clear day he could see steam coming from under the hood of the vehicle. the vehicle was towed the nearest service station. the contact stated that a part had failed and was melted, so they replaced it, (he not sure which part). the contact stated that after this part was replaced the mechanic informed the contact that coolant was leaking into the engine and that the engine's head was warped. the contact stated that the vehicle is still at the mechanic shop waiting for a new engine. the contact was informed that his engine had seized. *jb updated 03/02/07. *jb |
