Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While exiting the freeway, the rear differential began shuddering very badly, making loud metallic snapping noises. the truck would barely move out of the intersection(10 mph maximum).very, very scary considering rush hour traffic!dealership said "the entire differential had failed"and they would "emergency overnight" an entire new rear-end. that was 2 days ago, and the dealership called today and said it might be ready tomorrow. i have only 20k miles on my truck ,and it has led a rather easy life(no abuse, towing, etc.),the dealership still won't tell me what caused the failure,or if i will have access to the old parts. *jb |
